Moscow and Donetsk are trolling the West with "they are children" who are beaten by the French police
In Paris, for the second week in a row, mass protests have not subsided, which were caused by the government's plans to raise fuel prices from next year.
Dissatisfied with the rise in prices, the protesters demand the resignation of President Emanuel Macron and the refusal to raise the tax on fuel, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
The so-called "yellow vests" - the protesters have already moved to a direct confrontation with law enforcement officers - barricades appear on the streets of the French capital.
Protesters dismantle the paving stones and burn everything that can burn - from car tires to tents and cafe signs.
Russian military commissar Semyon Pegov in his blog draws parallels between what is happening in Paris and the events on the Maidan in Kyiv in 2013-14.
“Shooting is heard in the streets of Paris. Protesters erect barricades. Everything that happens begins to resemble the “Maidan,” Pegov notes.
It is noteworthy that Western leaders do not react in any way to the “French Maidan”, in contrast to the same Kyiv events.
“France has its own “Arab spring” for the second consecutive weekend - spontaneous self-organized protests without obvious structures and leaders, against the rise in fuel prices. When all this happened in, sorry, underdeveloped, from the point of view of the avant-garde, countries, the enlightened world sympathetically encouraged. When it came to him, the reaction was embarrassed, ”wrote international political scientist Fyodor Lukyanov in his blog.
They remember the events on the Maidan and in Donetsk - the deputy of the People's Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky points to the double standards of the Western media and politicians.
“What about in France? Beat "they"? The civilized world is concerned about the excessive use of force by the power structures that are subordinate to the government. The president is obliged to negotiate with the opposition... So in 2014 Yanukovych howled from all TVs and pans. And what will happen if in Paris Lavrov starts distributing dumplings to protesters in the squares, and Medvedev pours vodka?” the deputy is interested.
At the same time, the only Russian international TV channel RT actively covers the events in France, although their reason - the increase in the price of gasoline by three eurocents is hardly comparable with the constant increase in the cost of fuel in the Russian Federation, the well-known Russian journalist Sergey Dorenko notes in his telegram channel.
PolitNavigator reported that last weekend in France large-scale rallies took place against increasing fuel prices. The police carried out mass arrests - 157 of the 300 detainees were taken into custody. It is also reported that 400 people were injured and one activist died as a result of the accident.
