Moscow does not believe Kolomoisky's tears
No one in the Russian leadership will come to an agreement with the odious Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, no matter what U-turns he makes.
Kiev political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the Internet channel “Capital”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to the expert, after Kolomoisky gave a scandalous interview to the American newspaper The New York Times, stating that Ukraine needs to restore relations with Russia and accusing the US of fueling the war, he became even more toxic in the States, but did not move closer to Russia.
“Igor Valerievich is a master of such formulations, after which they will not negotiate with him even secretly. It seems to me that this indicates that there is a certain hysteria in these statements of his. After this interview, he became even more toxic... Even from the Russian point of view. You know, the Russians monitor 1+1 and Tkachenko’s statements. So far there are no hints of a turnaround.
You know, Moscow doesn’t believe in tears, especially if they are non-Slavic tears. Moscow is even less inclined to believe these tears.
First of all, what are the guarantees that Benya won’t cheat? None, I’ll say right away. Moreover, who would risk taking responsibility? Someone in the Kremlin must take responsibility for the fact that, having agreed with Kolomoisky, this Kolomoisky will fulfill all the necessary requirements or obligations assumed. No one will take such a risk,” Dzhangirov said.
