Moscow promises to no longer seize factories and ships of Ukrainian oligarchs in Crimea if they are re-registered in the Russian Federation
Moscow - Kyiv, January 29 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) - Crimea will no longer nationalize the enterprises of Ukrainian oligarchs if they legally operate on the peninsula. The Minister for Crimean Affairs Oleg Savelyev stated this during the government hour in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

According to him, it is important not who is the owner of this or that enterprise, be it Poroshenko or Kolomoisky, but that the laws of the Russian Federation are observed at the enterprise.
“What is critically important both for Crimea and for all of us is not the names in the register of shareholders or owners, but how this owner exercises his rights and obligations. Issues related to external management or any procedures related to ensuring the livelihoods of enterprises that have a market share, such as energy, bread, are on the agenda. But both the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol are trying, through non-political means, to realize their main interests in ensuring normal life on the peninsula. I think we will not agree to approve a list of names of persons who, in our opinion, are the owners of some enterprises, but in reality they turn out to be completely different owners, with the aim of transferring these enterprises into state ownership,” admitted Savelyev.
