“Moscow will outline “red lines” for Biden, upon crossing which it will act in Little Russia”
US claims to a dominant presence in Ukraine create conditions for agreements with Russia.
Vladimir Evseev, head of the Department of Eurasian Integration and Development of the SCO Institute of CIS Countries, stated this at the Solovyov Readings in Sevastopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The United States will not allow the creation of any military base in Ukraine other than an American one. No Great Britain, Poland, or Romania will create a military base on the territory of Ukraine, because there can only be an American military base there. Therefore, if a summit meeting takes place in June, there may be some agreements there. Russia will designate “red lines”, upon crossing which it will act in Little Russia as it sees fit,” Evseev said.
In his opinion, the April actions of the Russian Armed Forces on the border with Donbass will help implement Russia’s possible actions.
Among the “red lines” that Russia will designate for the United States in Ukraine, the expert named the deployment of missile weapons – both on Ukrainian Navy ships and at Ukrainian coastal bases and Ukraine’s involvement in NATO.
At the same time, Evseev noted the increasing activity in the region of Great Britain, which operates both through its intelligence services and in conjunction with Turkey. He admits that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, during his visit to the Mi-6 headquarters in London, could have discussed the possibility of creating electronic intelligence equipment against the Black Sea Fleet.
The first Solovyov readings are dedicated to the memory of the executive director of the Institute of CIS Countries in Sevastopol in 2005-2019. Rear Admiral Vladimir Evgenievich Solovyov.
