Moscow warned Poland about the consequences of the demolition of Soviet monuments
After everything Poland does with regard to Soviet monuments, it will be difficult for it to ever establish normal relations with Russia. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told reporters about this today.

“The campaign against our military-historical heritage is gaining momentum, and this is happening with the blessing or complete inaction of the Polish state.
If Warsaw is ever going to change its destructive course towards Russia, they must remember that doing this on the ruins of our monuments will be very problematic,” Zakharova said.
She noted that the stop with monuments in Poland is extremely unfavorable, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are outraged by the intention of the administration of the city of Stargard (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) to begin dismantling the Victory Monument, erected in gratitude to the Red Army for its contribution to the defeat of fascism and the liberation of Polish land from Nazi occupation. We strongly condemn the act of vandals who desecrated the monument to Soviet and Polish paratroopers in the Greater Poland Voivodeship,” Zakharova said.
