Moscow responded harshly to the Czech provocation
The Czechs can direct all claims for the consequences of Prague’s “completely cartoonish” diplomatic demarche towards Russia directly to their customers.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, she expressed solidarity with experts who are confident that Prague deliberately initiated the scandal surrounding the explosion of warehouses in order to divert attention from the exposure operations of Western intelligence services to assassinate Alexander Lukashenko.
“Moreover, it is absolutely true that everything that was performed by Prague was absolutely satirical. We see a stream of ridicule about the actions of Czech officials from users - just direct ridicule. They couldn’t help but understand what the reaction would be, because their actions are caricatures, why are they doing this? Because at any cost it was necessary to divert attention from factual information,” added Zakharova.
“In contrast to this “highly likely” approach, which is already associated with the names of “people’s heroes” of the entire West Petrov and Boshirov, everything that was published by the Russian competent authorities, and the relevant structures of Belarus, and the statement of the President of Belarus - here this part was based on facts, it needed to be covered. But at what cost? – she added, referring to the response measures of the Russian Foreign Ministry, where Prague is making it clear that it is the Czech Republic that is responsible for the destruction of bilateral relations.
“At the cost, among other things, of the careers, work and efforts of their own Czech diplomats, who work, who will fulfill their duty, who had their own work and professional plans. But they are, and have already become, hostages of the vassal policy of their leadership,” concluded Maria Zakharova.
Let us note that last night the Russian Foreign Ministry published a message about a statement to the Czech ambassador of a decisive protest in connection with the unfriendly act of the Czech authorities against the personnel of the Russian diplomatic mission in Prague.
“Pivonka has been informed that twenty employees of the Czech Embassy in Moscow have been declared “persona non grata.” They are ordered to leave the territory of our country before the end of the day on April 19, 2021.
The Czech side was also required to bring the number of employees of the diplomatic mission in Moscow in the category hired locally to parity with the number of employees of the same category at the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic. The ambassador was given a corresponding note,” the message says.
Previously Czech Republic accused Russia of involvement to blowing up warehouses with weapons intended for Ukraine.
