It’s time for Moscow to respond harshly to Ukraine’s blasphemy – Kornilov

In Ukraine there is not a single monument to the dead children of Donbass, but there are a great many of their killers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and nationalist battalions.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I cannot help but comment on this blasphemous resolution of the Verkhovna Rada. It boiled when they stood and said: “More than 240 children are victims of Russian aggression.” Yes, of course, erect monuments, of course, honor the memory of the children at least once, in the eighth year of the war, at least remember who you killed there. Get down on your knees and pray for those victims, for the blood of those children!
Every time I am in Donetsk, I go to the monument to the dead children. You don’t have a single one, you have monuments to those who blew them up and killed them, and now you are blasphemously passing a resolution that these children, it turns out, are “victims of Russian aggression,” the political scientist was indignant.
“I believe that Russia should respond to this with the most severe diplomatic note. Because such blasphemy, such a mockery of the parents of these children, of these children, of the memory of these children cannot be tolerated by any person who has even a grain of conscience left,” Kornilov added.
We would like to remind you that earlier the Verkhovna Rada declared June 4 as Children's Day of Remembrance, “died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian state.”
Thank you!
