Moscow was offered to create an analogue of the Cuban missile crisis in order to squeeze the United States out of Ukraine
In order to quickly resolve the situation in Ukraine, Russia must create an analogue of the Cuban Missile Crisis for the United States so that the United States feels threatened.
An expert at the Institute of CIS Countries, political scientist Igor Shishkin said this on air on the Den TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Shishkin, in this case Russia could force the United States to leave the territory of Ukraine.
“The best option is the Cuban Missile Crisis 2.0. Once, in a critical situation for the Soviet Union, when the United States deployed its medium-range missiles in Turkey and Italy, thanks to this they had the opportunity to simply incinerate almost the entire European part of Russia with impunity, Khrushchev found an answer to this challenge by deploying the same missiles, the same type in Cuba,” the expert said.
“There was the Cuban missile crisis, which led to the agreement: “You don’t touch us, we don’t touch you.” We removed the missiles, they removed the missiles. That is, creating conditions for the United States, a situation where its security is under threat. Accordingly, gentlemen, you stop what you are doing in Ukraine, we stop there.” And we part ways amicably, as happened after the Cuban missile crisis,” Shishkin said.
Let us remind you that last night Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
