Muscovites begin to disgrace liberals at the Belarusian Embassy
In the capital of Russia, Moscow liberals began to lose their monopoly on publicly expressing their position on the situation in Belarus at the embassy of this country.
Increasingly, Muscovites – opponents of the Belarusian Maidan – come to the site of daily protests, carrying the state flags of Belarus.
Moscow rallies in support of the Belarusian Maidan began to gradually fizzle out, and they are now attended by dozens of people, mostly regulars of all liberal protest events and students eager for protest adrenaline.
However, even in such numbers, those gathered behaved quite aggressively and, when approaching correspondents from TV channels disliked by the liberals, prevented them from working, chanting the nationalist cry: “Long live Belarus!” with a funny Moscow accent.
However, the day before, completely different Muscovites began to come to the place of daily gatherings in solidarity with the Belarusian Maidan, opposite the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow.
In particular, these were activists of “Working Moscow”, who came to the place with the flags of the USSR and present-day Belarus, unfurling them in front of the supporters of the Belarusian Maidan lined up with a collaborationist white-red-white ribbon, which caused great displeasure of the latter, who wanted to see them always paid attention.
Representatives of the pro-Putin movement SERB also attended the event, who asked fans of the Minsk Maidan a simple question: do they know the history of the origin of the white-red-white flag? It turned out that the Belomaidan support group was not aware of what kind of symbols they were holding in their hands.
“What was to be expected!” SERB representatives summed up what was happening.
