Sevastopol, July 19 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – TV journalist Sergei Illarionov died as a result of a motorcycle collision on the Yalta highway near Sevastopol.

Journalist Vladislav Osipov wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“Knocked down to death by a motorcycle at the crossing near the Shaiba restaurant. Vladimir Ivanovich (father of the deceased, a famous Sevastopol journalist - ed.) went to the scene of the accident. Biker and passenger in hospital. My condolences... They once worked with Anton (Sevastopol reporter for Navigator, who died on July 5 at the age of 28 - ed.) in the same editorial office.”

Sergei Illarionov worked in the artistic programs department of SRGTRK.

The funeral service for the deceased will take place at 11.30 in the Vladimir Cathedral (tomb of the admirals) on Wednesday, July 23.
