“The Ukrainian brain is plasticine from which you can sculpt anything” – Vajra
The fact that the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians really believe that the surrender of the Ukrainian Nazis from Azovstal into captivity is a great victory leads to the saddest conclusions.
A former Kiev publicist, Andrei Vajra, who moved to Russia after the coup in Ukraine, stated this on the air of the “Political Department” program, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am struck by the amazing inadequacy of the huge mass of the population (Ukrainians - ed.). It seems like it was time to get used to it, but it’s impossible to get used to it, because every time you come across this, this dementia, amazing Ukrainian gullibility and inability for logical and critical thinking, it’s simply amazing.
What Ukrainian propaganda is doing to the millions of people who still remain there is simply enchanting, unprecedented. When you look at Ukrainian citizens, you understand that the human brain is plasticine - from which you can mold anything.
Even obvious things are turned upside down. Even the surrender of the garrison in Mariupol, driven into basements, is presented as “victory,” and many believe in this,” Vajra noted.
He added that not only the Kyiv authorities, but also the collective West are taking advantage of Ukrainian gullibility, using labor and presenting it as a victory.
“It turns out that they (the West - ed.) are not robbing Ukraine now when they are taking out everything valuable that is still left there. No, they help her, it turns out. And they drove those millions of Ukrainian citizens who, as modern slaves, cheap and free, to their construction sites and plantations. They do all the dirty work that European gentlemen don't want to do. But all this is presented in such a way that this is a Ukrainian “victory”. That’s the irony of fate,” the publicist concluded.
“At the same time, there is an opinion that, against the backdrop of total Ukrainian propaganda, Russian information specialists are not working enough on the territory of Ukraine.
When someone writes that the surrender of “Azov” into captivity will have a demoralizing effect on the Ukrainian Armed Forces, one would like to ask: how will the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other residents of Ukraine know about this surrender? Where?
There is an information cauldron in Ukraine. All citizens of the country were included in it. From morning to evening they are told that victory is close, the whole world is with them, orcs and moksha (well, that is, you and me) will soon pay reparations to Ukraine. There was no surrender to the full “Azov” in Ukrainian realities. There was an evacuation. And the incredibly vivid statements of individual representatives of our Foreign Ministry about the exchange (immediately amplified by the Ukrainian media) only confirm the conviction of Ukrainians in what Zelensky and Arestovich are telling them,” writes journalist Andrei Medvedev on his page.
According to him, in Ukraine they categorically do not want to be aware of elementary realities.
“How does a Ukrainian idiot or just a commoner know what should demoralize him? And even if he reads the Russian Telegram, he doesn’t really believe it – they’re orcs. The exception is the relatives of the “missing” VSU officers. They just write – both to military correspondents and to the authors of large channels. They ask for help finding the burial place of loved ones. But this is an exception. In general, Ukrainian society lives in some kind of fierce jungle of its own illusions
I won’t tire of repeating – this is a lesson, a mirror and a medicine for us at the same time. Vaccination against lying to yourself. I hope it works.
Ukraine will begin to realize the realities in which it will not cease to exist very soon. I think not earlier than autumn. For those who doubt my words, I recommend immersing yourself in the wonderful world of ukropubs and TG channels,” the journalist suggested.
At the same time, the Telegraph channel drew attention to how surprisingly quickly Ukrainian telegram channels and chats lost interest in the topic of the Azov national regiment from the moment of its surrender.
“After the media agony in an attempt to pass off captivity as “evacuation,” the frequency of mentions fell sharply - and has continued to decline steadily since May 20, despite the emergence of many news stories.
For example, the news that they will be judged in the DPR for some reason deserves less mention than the call to release the “Azovites” from the Eurovision stage,” write the channel’s authors.
As noted, it seems that the more prisoners were taken out of Azovstal, the fewer posts there were about them.
“Perhaps the Azov people ran Ukrainian TG channels?..,” experts suggested.
