Such an opinion was stated by Anatoly Baranov, editor of the Forum MSK website, in his author’s column dedicated to the death of the brigade commander “Ghost”.
“There is no need to cast a shadow over the fence - he was the most prominent politician in the LPR, his popularity was off the charts, and in any more or less fair elections he would have won everything he could. Moreover, both the left and the right would vote for him. He is the only one who was famous in Europe - including after the Anti-Fascist Forum held in spite of the ban of the LPR authorities - they write and talk about him in the West, he was also considered as a possible alternative to the top of the LPR. And Mozgovoy was not going to “lie down” to anyone. It is on this basis that we must evaluate what happened in the Mikhailovka area on the evening of May 23,” the journalist is confident.
Also, the editor of “Forum MSK” doubts that Mozgovoy was killed by “our own people.”
“There were problems with the neighboring brigade, but organizing the murder of a battalion commander is not the style of the militia. This is the style of other structures,” the author of the article is sure.
