“Could lead to a disaster” – the Ukrainian Armed Forces are firing large caliber weapons at a chemical plant
Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces retreating from Donbass mined the Chemical and Metallurgical Plant in the Donskoye village near Volnovakha, and when the explosion went wrong, they began shelling the plant with heavy artillery.
Military correspondent Semyon Pegov reported this on his Telegram channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Chemical and Metallurgical Plant in Donskoy, which is located in close proximity to Volnovakha, was mined,” he wrote.
In addition to the installed charges, a large amount of flammable and explosive chemicals is stored at the chemical plant.
“Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are striking the plant with heavy artillery - if a detonation occurs, this could lead to disaster,” Pegov added.
