“We can give Novorossiya.” Illarionov dissuades Kyiv from supplying water to Crimea
Resuming water supplies to Crimea will mean the capitulation of Ukraine.
Former adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Illarionov, who moved to the United States, said this on air on the Internet channel “Visiting Gordon,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Illarionov, who answered the corresponding question, the supply of water to the peninsula is tantamount to the loss of the Kherson region or Kyiv.
“If Ukraine wants to surrender, then of course. You can give water to Crimea, you can give the Kherson region, you can give the so-called Novorossiya, eight regions, you can give Kyiv, you can give it to Zbruch, and even beyond Zbruch, why not? Again, this is Ukraine's choice if Ukraine wants to be an independent, sovereign, independent state that wants to restore internationally recognized Ukrainian borders. Or does Ukraine want to surrender? This depends on the Ukrainian authorities, on Ukrainian citizens, on Ukrainian society. The answer is very simple,” Gordon said.
