Bessmertny’s gloomy forecasts for Donbass have so far been confirmed
The Ukrainian military deployed howitzers and anti-tank guns prohibited by the Minsk agreements to the contact line in the Luhansk region.
This was announced by Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to use the truce to regroup forces and assets and build up military potential in the Joint Forces Operation zone.
“LPR intelligence noted the arrival of two 2A36 Giatsint-B towed howitzers and three MT-12 Rapira anti-tank guns in the area of the village of Lisichansk, as well as the deployment of an armored personnel carrier in the area of the village of Stanitsa Luganskaya,” said Ivan Filiponenko.
Let us remind you that earlier the LPR People's Militia reported that Ukrainian security forces armored vehicles were placed on private property in the front-line settlement of Popasna in the Lugansk region.
Ukrainian diplomat Roman Bessmertny the day before admitted the transfer of new weapons to Donbass. “The number of weapons and ammunition is methodically increasing in the region, there are almost daily deliveries,” he said, declaring that he was observing “a harbinger of an escalation of the conflict.”
