The operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Debaltseve and Ilovaisk, which led to the formation of “cauldrons” and large losses among the Ukrainian military, were started with the knowledge of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Petro Poroshenko, who will have to bear responsibility for what happened.
Ex-ATO officer, Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Parasyuk said this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I took and am taking an active part in ensuring that those people who led to the Debaltsevo cauldron, to the Ilovaisk cauldron, to the point of releasing Russian occupation troops from Slavyansk, were punished, because we understand that this is a direct war with Russia.
I am sure that there will be a tribunal in Ukraine, and they will all answer to it, and this dream of mine makes me move forward, because I lost many friends in the war, and I cannot calm down. When I see them all, it’s hard for me to control myself, because all these tragedies were provoked by their unprofessionalism, indifference and, to a certain extent, their agent activities in the country that attacked us, that is, Russia. Therefore, I am convinced that they will all respond.
You must understand that operations such as Ilovaisk and Debaltsevo were not carried out without the decision of the commander-in-chief, and Pyotr Alekseevich knew this well. Therefore, he must be held accountable for the tragedies that occurred. And I’m sure that this will happen, I live by this, because no one will simply forgive them,” the people’s deputy concluded.
