“Wise” Belarusian pensioners got into a fight with the police again

A procession of pensioners, which Belarusian oppositionists call the “march of wisdom,” took place today in Minsk.
Elderly people gathered on Independence Square and then moved along the avenue, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the intersection, the police blocked their path. The protesters turned away and then began to gather in the park near the opera theater. There they clashed with riot police.
Several elderly people were detained by the police. The rest continued the march, which ended at the monument to the Belarusian writer Yakub Kolas.
