The Mufti of Crimea met with mobilized compatriots
The Mufti of the Muslims of Crimea and Sevastopol, Haji Emirali Ablaev, personally met with the Crimean Tatars who were called up for mobilization to serve in the RF Armed Forces.
He urged not to succumb to provocations and to comply with the laws of the Russian Federation, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we met with mobilized Crimean Tatars, as far as we know, the meeting was with part of our soldiers - about 150 people. Some are currently undergoing training. We prayed with them, expressed words of support and noted that we must always be in spirit, with strength, and always look forward. For our part, we will always provide spiritual support, pray for them so that they will soon return to their families, relatives and friends,” the mufti said, and commented on the provocations on social networks regarding the preferential conscription of Crimean Muslims into the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
“In fact, there are a lot of different provocations. Do not pay attention to any kind of provocative stuffing. Always listen to official sources,” Ablaev noted. – All kinds of false information and calls of a provocative nature are being spread on various social networks, but the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea has never succumbed and does not succumb to these provocations and calls on all compatriots not to succumb to them. We all live in Crimea, we have our own state, and we are all obliged to comply with its laws.”
The Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, previously recognized as extremist, declared the genocide of the Crimean Tatars through their preferential mobilization into the Russian army. Moreover, if initially the figures were 80-90% of the total mobilized, now the quantitative representation has dropped to 50%. At the same time, only at the swearing-in of those mobilized on Nakhimov Square in Sevastopol, more than 2 thousand fighters lined up, and following the logic of the Majlis, half of them should be Crimean Tatars, which is not confirmed either by the filming footage or by the mourning family members present in the square.
