Mukharsky rages: “Half of Ukraine is Russian. Urgently ban their language"
Half of the population of Ukraine is Russian, and therefore, in order to preserve the integrity of the country, total Ukrainization is necessary, which does not leave a single chance for the Russian language to ever sound in public use.
The odious Ukrainian showman-Russophobe and TV presenter Anton Mukharsky, known under the pseudonym “Orest Lyuty”, stated this on the air of the Espreso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Half of the country’s population is Russian. They will love Russia. This is their Russia with Zhukov, with Stalin, with Pushkin, Dostoevsky, Bulgakov and Bunin. Let's call a spade a spade. Half of Ukrainian citizens have Russian mental firmware, and it is impossible to rid them of this. They are. They are Russians.
The only thing you can do now is to slowly change it. This is really pouring huge amounts of money into Ukrainian education, into the Ukrainization of all spheres of life. That is, those half-hearted forms that we see on television and in the press, they contribute to the fact that Little Russians and Russians feel great, because we are the same people in language,” said the Russophobe.
“Categorically ban the Russian language in public use in general, do not issue licenses to TV channels if they cannot provide 100% broadcasting in the Ukrainian language. Do not issue licenses to print media, because all content must be in Ukrainian. We must label Ukraine as Ukraine,” Mukharsky urged.
“To carry out a fierce, severe Ukrainization, introducing those laws that I called: one hundred percent Ukrainian language in all media, television, newspapers, book publishing exclusively in Ukrainian, education exclusively in Ukrainian. And then we have a chance to stay on the borders in which, at least, Ukraine exists now. If we don’t do this, then it is possible that that belt [Russian-speaking regions] will go to Russia. I do not exclude such a development of events,” the showman added.
