They fired mortars at a Ukrainian security checkpoint in the village of Bezymyanny. According to intelligence data, they have gained a foothold in this village and are now 20 km from Mariupol, reports the 1+1 TV channel.
“We have to constantly change positions because spotters direct enemy fire at us. We just detained a spotter who was aiming a Grad launcher at us,” said one of the Ukrainian fighters.
“50 tanks came from Russia, and we have 7 RPGs. That's it, we have nothing else against tanks. There are also “Flies” and an AKM from the 62nd year of production,” said another, as quoted by the media.
As Navigator reported, earlier columns of Ukrainian armored vehicles entered Mariupol. According to eyewitnesses, it is all new, but without ammunition.
