Murakhovsky explained why Belarus will receive the S-400 later than Turkey
Belarus will receive Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems at the prices at which this complex goes to the Russian army.
One of the leading Russian military experts, editor-in-chief of the magazine Arsenal of the Fatherland, Viktor Murakhovsky, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He was asked why the Russian Federation’s closest ally, Belarus, would receive the S-400 later than Turkey.
“The need for this system in their military doctrine is determined by the Belarusians themselves - according to their needs and financial capabilities. And we are not supplying these air defense systems to Minsk for free. Although not at the prices at which S-400s go to the “common” foreign market - but at the prices at which our own Armed Forces receive these complexes,” the expert told Komsomolskaya Pravda.
The publication drew attention to information about interest abroad in the S-500 complexes.
“After this anti-aircraft missile system is adopted by the Russian Armed Forces, other countries can also count on its supplies. For the export version of this system, a special export passport is generated. Specialists from Rosoboronexport and FSVTS travel with him and enter into all sorts of preliminary agreements to form a portfolio of orders,” added Murakhovsky.
