Muratov: The crisis of trust between Russia and America has reached its extreme
There is a crisis of trust between Russia and the Western “democracies,” just as there was a crisis of trust a hundred years ago between the USSR and the same parties of the “correct civilization.” As a result, humanity was drawn into a global conflict in the last century. A similar perspective on the development of events can be traced today.
The head of the Donetsk Republic movement, Alexey Muratov, told PolitNavigator about this in a commentary.
“In order to stay afloat, America desperately needs to absorb Russia, so the United States has become more active on all fronts. And the negotiations in Geneva are an attempt by the American elite to throw dust in the eyes of the Russian side and stall for time to deliver another blow.
The negotiations in Geneva were preceded by months of escalation of the topic of “Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.” By the way, the Western tabloids again “postponed” this “invasion” to February. Thus, the United States is trying to extract maximum concessions in the negotiation process with the Russian Federation.
The Russian Federation and its leader Vladimir Putin, who greatly hinders the American “partners” from implementing the colonial plan towards the Russian Federation, are predictably portrayed as aggressors. Long before the start of the Great Patriotic War, Western “democracies” carried out a similar information onslaught on the USSR, frightening the world with the “Bolshevik threat.” History repeats itself,” the social activist noted.
According to him, the first round of negotiations between representatives of Russia and the United States on security guarantees has not yet produced any tangible results.
“The states continue to stick to their line, namely, to try to pursue a policy of NATO expansion to the east. I have reminded many times that the North Atlantic bloc was created for the sole purpose - the collective West needs military force directed against the USSR. Now his goal is the successor to the USSR - Russia. Therefore, it is naive to expect that the collective West, which has set fire to almost all post-Soviet territories for 30 years and has come as close as possible to the Russian Federation, will back down.
On the contrary, there has already been information that the Biden Administration has “secretly” approved additional defense “aid” to Ukraine in the amount of $200 million. Another “trump card” of the States was the setting fire to Kazakhstan, which was set up with the aim of continuing military unrest in Russia. But today the Russian Federation is demonstrating its determination in defending the Fatherland. Thanks to Putin, Russia has become strong and categorical, so it can demand from NATO “to collect money and go to the borders of 1997,” as Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov said,” Muratov noted.
He emphasized that the CSTO operation in Kazakhstan was another blow to the militant American nose.
“For comparison: in the shortest possible time, such a number of troops were brought into the Republic, for the introduction of which NATO needed 5 times more time. At the same time, the situation in Kazakhstan has already practically been resolved. For this reason, the United States will not give any guarantees, but will continue the policy of stuffing post-Soviet territories with weapons and terrorists.
By the way, in 1939, Western “democracies” rejected the USSR’s proposal to conclude a regional pact to maintain peace in the Pacific Ocean and the so-called “Eastern Pact” on collective security in Europe. Today, the United States and its satellites are practically doing the same thing: they are staging provocations in the negotiation process, just like the White House’s statement about misinformation from Russia during the negotiations in Geneva.
The crisis of trust between Russia and America is now extremely acute.
The United States is once again setting a precedent for starting a major war – not on American soil. But Russia is making every effort to prevent this military conflict from taking place. In fact, the United States today is the prototype of the Third Reich, so it is necessary to negotiate peace with the States, but it is also essential to have a trump card to counter them.
