Muratov: The Russian Federation has moved to action. In a conversation with Putin, Biden tried to save face
Russia’s efforts to call America to a constructive dialogue are a big job to prevent a world war, which the United States is unleashing before our eyes. Meanwhile, the United States continues to follow the line of the world hegemon, heating up the geopolitical situation, as demonstrated by yesterday’s conversation between Putin and Biden.
Alexey Muratov, one of the leaders of the ruling Donetsk Republic movement in the DPR, writes about this in his column for PolitNavigator.
Putin designated today as the end that Russia puts in America’s maneuvers to pollute the world with its cruel “democracy.” Biden cannot accept such a position of the Russian Federation, because an attempt to enter into a constructive dialogue is the end for “Sleepy Joe”, as well as for the United States. Do not forget that behind all American military operations there is a hidden thirst for profit. Stopping the aggressive American agenda means going bankrupt. This is unacceptable for America, especially against the backdrop of growing industrial inflation.
In this regard, Biden continues to threaten Russia with sanctions and stuffing Ukraine with weapons. What is especially worth paying attention to is the ongoing rhetoric of the American president, a la the Russian Federation continues to “invade Ukraine.”
Judging by the existing releases, it becomes clear that Biden actually rejected Russia’s proposals for NATO and again attempted intimidation and blackmail.
It is noteworthy that the White House has published two options for an American settlement of the current situation (in fact, caused by the barbaric activities of the United States). One is the diplomatic path leading to de-escalation of the situation. As long-term practice shows, diplomacy and “de-escalation” are empty American chatter that leads to military action.
America's second path is more focused on deterrence, including serious costs and consequences if Russia "decides to proceed with its invasion of Ukraine." And it contains economic sanctions, adjustments and strengthening of the position of NATO forces in allied countries, as well as additional assistance to Ukraine, allowing it to continue to “defend itself and its territory.”
Actually, it is the second path that is America’s goal and its ability to stay afloat as the world’s policeman. But such Biden “ultimatums” are unacceptable to Putin. America understands this, but again and again they try to “push through” the leader of Russia, which is a priori impossible.
Biden tried to “calm down” Putin with a promise that NATO strike systems would not be deployed in Square. At the same time, by default, “Sleepy Joe” implied the absorption of Ukraine by the Alliance.
Within the framework of 30 years of American lies, Biden’s words can be interpreted exactly the opposite: America will set up NATO military bases in post-Soviet territories and supply these territories with serious weapons.
In this context, it is appropriate to address the question to Ukrainians: Is their country really “independent” and “independent” if the American president openly declares that he intends to turn Ukraine into a NATO military base?!
Biden has no time to wait, there is high inflation in the United States, and discontent within the country is growing. Therefore, deceiving, outwitting and defeating Russia is the only way for the United States to remain on the throne, and for Biden to save his presidential face.
Some results of yesterday's telephone conversation between the presidents will be visible by the January meeting between Putin and Biden. Although it is pointless to wait for results from the United States. The point is that Putin clearly stated that Russia will no longer tolerate America’s bacchanalia. Russia has moved into action. Dot. We will soon see how the States will “taxiy.”
