Mustafa Nayyem does not regret provoking a coup in Ukraine and would do it all over again
Former journalist and now Verkhovna Rada deputy Mustafa Nayem said that if he returned to 2013, he would again repeat his actions in provoking the Euromaidan, which marked the beginning of the civil war in Ukraine.
“Yes, I would do it again,” Nayem said on Radio Vesti.
“This is understandable, there has been some growth in my career,” noted presenter Valery Kalnysh.

Nayyem clarified that he supported the military coup d’etat, and today he feels responsible for what happened (he did not disclose what the responsibility was).
“Of course I feel it. Ultimately, our entire generation should feel this. Every person who came to Maidan and supported, must feel responsible, that he supported exactly this course of history, exactly this change of power. I supported it, to some extent I had a hand in getting it started,” Nayem said.
