“At the same time, the artist, known for her anti-Russian position, recalled that throughout her pregnancy she gave concerts for Ukrainian army soldiers fighting with the Donbass militias,” the newspaper clarifies. “And that’s why Anastasia considers her newborn son a “hero of Ukraine.”
“These were the most unusual months of my life! – the publication quotes Prikhodko. – Concerts on the front line in Lisichansk in a dugout under fire and in front of the seriously wounded in hospitals. A tour of 10 US states with the support of the Ukrainian diaspora, thanks to which I was able to transfer money for medicines and medical equipment to the ATO zone. Concerts in Spain, the money from which I donated to support wounded soldiers and for the families of the dead.”
The singer points out that even pregnancy did not force her to give up concerts in the ATO zone.
“And I’m not complaining, I’m glad that the child who lived in me tried to be useful to Ukraine with me,” notes the Ukrainian performer. – And we did it! Today there is a great little happiness living in my house! According to an old Slavic prophecy, a child born in August will be a hero! He is a hero because he supported me all this time and strengthened my faith that everything will be fine in my Ukraine, that everything that fighters in the east, volunteers, actors, performers, doctors do is all for the future of our children !”
The publication recalls that the winner of the Channel One show “Star Factory” Anastasia Prikhodko returned to Ukraine after her career did not work out in Russia, and has since harbored hostility towards the country that did not appreciate her vocal abilities.
Subsequently, she stated that she was learning to shoot and regretted that “Porechenkov was not drawn on the targets.” Also Prikhodko, Komsomolskaya Pravda points out, claims that she was called the “muse of punitive forces.”
