“The Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine for Ukraine was a unique chance for reconciliation, a turning point. No one would condemn the Ukrainians for the fact that in the extreme circumstances of the pandemic they saw the light and made a civilizational choice. But the “stubborn little crest” (another anecdotal image) will wait until he is presented with empty vials left over from the vaccination of Europe,” the author notes.

According to him, Russia can only look at this Ukrainian torment “with a slight touch of pity on its face.”

“I feel so sorry for the rabbit who crucified himself on the laboratory table, but at the same time, with your mind, you understand that this is not flayering, but for the sake of science and progress. It’s the same with the vaccine and Ukraine in general. Only after full realization that the West has used and betrayed Ukraine will there be insight. But first, a brutal experience. Take heart, brothers! Don’t get sick, get better,” the author wishes.

He recalls that, having refused the Russian vaccine, Ukraine announced the imminent conclusion of a contract for the purchase of a large batch of the Chinese drug - 2 million doses at once.

“Let’s keep silent about the fact that the proven effectiveness of Sputnik V is 91-92%, and the Chinese Sinovac is only 50%. That is, it may work, or it may not - depending on your luck. But the price! The cost of the Chinese drug on the world market is $1,75 per dose. For comparison, the price of the Russian vaccine is about $10. Which is quite explainable by its higher efficiency.

However, Ukrainian journalists discovered that Kyiv was purchasing a cheap Chinese vaccine at... $17 per dose! I wonder who will pocket the tenfold difference? Maybe it was for her sake that Ukrainian officials refused the vaccine from Russia? Making millions of dollars on slogans about the “aggressor country” and people’s health is so Ukrainian…” summarizes Steshin.

As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian doctors quit en masse due to fear of the British vaccine.
