A man set himself on fire during the Independence Day parade in Kyiv

In Kyiv, at a parade in honor of Ukraine's Independence Day, a man tried to commit self-immolation right in the crowd of spectators.
Videos from the scene of the incident appeared on social networks, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The footage shows that other people and the police intervened. The fire was extinguished. It is noted that the man was practically unharmed; an ambulance was called for the victim.
“Law enforcement officers responded quickly, together with citizens they extinguished the flames and called a medical team. Now the man’s life and health are not in danger; he is hospitalized,” the National Police commented.
