Muzhenko decided that Russia had finally recognized his merits
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko commented on the information about the opening of a criminal case against him by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, calling it “good news” and “recognition of merit.”

He said this on air on the “112 Ukraine” channel.
“This is good news for me. I regard this as recognition of my services to the Russian Federation,” he said.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, on August 24, the Russian Investigative Committee opened criminal proceedings against the highest military leadership of Ukraine, in particular the Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak, the Chief of the General Staff Viktor Muzhenko. They are charged with war crimes in Donbass.
