Musician Django: The basis of the conflict is the imposition of the Ukrainian language
Kyiv, February 26 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The fundamental cause of the conflict in Ukraine was the forced imposition of the Ukrainian language in the eastern regions. Russian singer Alexey Poddubny (Django) stated this on the air of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of the LPR.

“I believe that one of the fundamental problems of this conflict is the cultural conflict between the Russian and Ukrainian languages. Due to the fact that the Ukrainian language began to be forcibly implanted, they began to impose it, to break the culture over the knee... People declared from high stands after the coup in Kyiv that there would be nothing Russian here, and so on. Well, as it stands, there will be nothing Russian. This problem has always been there, it smoldered, but it was not allowed to flare up,” said Django.
Poddubny, a former resident of Kiev, clarified that he lives in Russia, but is still a citizen of Ukraine.
