“Ministry of Internal Affairs – to answer!” – a deputy from the New People party rushed to the defense of everything yellow and blue
Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation “New People” Vladislav Davankov called on the Ministry of Internal Affairs to provide clarification regarding the legality of the combination of yellow and blue colors. He was outraged that claims were made against Russians in banal everyday situations “for supporting” Ukraine.
Davankov wrote about this in his tg channel, PolitNavigator Correspondent reports.
“Patriotic vigilance reaches the point of absurdity. The headmistress of a school in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug complained to the police about the mother of a student with “yellow-blue” pigtails. The girl’s mother had to explain to the juvenile affairs inspector that these were not the colors of the Ukrainian flag, but light green and light green. Last week, people in Moscow were detained for color combinations in clothing. Over the weekend, TV presenter Olga Skabeeva posted a photo of a spring bouquet of lilac and yellow flowers on her tg channel.
No one had time to accuse her of Ukrainian propaganda: Skabeeva deleted the photo herself after 10 minutes. If we continue in this spirit, then soon titmice will be shot in Russia, hundreds of brands will have to be closed for yellow-blue logos and at least one political party – the LDPR – will have to be banned. Obviously, this path is absurd. We need to stop making people nervous with uncertainty,” Davankov wrote.
The initiative of the vice speaker delighted the liberal journalist Ekaterina Vinokurova.
“Oh, what a great guy Davankov is! I’m really worried about the Liberal Democratic Party! Thank you, New People, for your common sense,” she wrote.
