This was reported to the SOS of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Lugansk region.
During the presentation, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Evdokimov noted that law enforcement officers are in a difficult situation. According to him, given the fact that the previous head of the main board, police lieutenant general Vladimir Guslavsky, wrote a resignation letter, a decision was made to appoint a new leader.
As Navigator reported, on April 29, the Lugansk protesters elected Naumenko, who had already headed the regional Department of Internal Affairs during Yushchenko’s presidency, as “the people’s chief of police.”
