This was announced by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Sergei Yarovoy.
According to him, one of the main versions is “the reaction of separatist-minded individuals to the latest events that occurred in Kharkov.”
The Ministry of Internal Affairs recalled that on April 27, Kharkov police detained 13 radical citizens from whom dangerous items were confiscated: a box of Molotov cocktails, masks, wooden sticks, explosives and nails. The purpose of the actions of the detainees, according to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, was to destabilize the situation in this region.
“We see that all this is being carried out according to a pre-planned scenario. We know what events are happening in the Donetsk region - Artemovsk, Makeevka, Slavyansk. I believe that these forces continue their actions, their actions in order to destabilize the situation in Kharkov,” emphasized Sergei Yarovoy.
He also noted that law enforcement officers have now found material evidence of the assassination attempt on Kernes, including a gun casing. The results of the examinations will appear in the near future, so law enforcement officers will be able to see.
“At the moment, the situation in Kharkov is difficult, but the police are taking all measures to ensure that the situation in Kharkov is stable,” emphasized the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
