According to him, the reasons why the Right Sector fighters retreated from the airport today are unclear to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but these actions are correct.
“I don’t understand why we need Donetsk airport if we have 32 checkpoints. Isn't it easier to take a step back to take two steps forward? Previously, two months ago, it was needed as a springboard for the attack on Donetsk. Now, after the truce, which did not take place, I do not see the need to maintain it,” Gerashchenko said.
