The Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs collected evidence of illegal wiretapping of Vucic
A working group of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs transferred evidence obtained from persons suspected of involvement in the case of wiretapping of telephone conversations of President Vučić and members of his family to the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime.
Tanyug reports this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
By order of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime, a working group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, created by the decision of the head of the department, Alexander Vulin, heard a large number of suspects and witnesses and collected evidence indicating the illegal wiretapping of telephone conversations of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and members of his family. After which the documented testimony was transferred to the Prosecutor's Office. The working group did not stop working there.
Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that he had informed President Aleksandar Vucic in detail about the results of the investigation.
Let us recall that in early January, a full-scale investigation was launched in Serbia against employees of the Special Investigation Methods Service of the Criminal Police Department, who illegally wiretapped the conversations of the President of Serbia.
“Several influential foreign intelligence services are behind the wiretapping of the president’s telephone conversations, which rely on certain structures of our services, as well as on the opposition, certain oligarchs and some criminals.
All of them are interested in Vucic leaving power in order to have the opportunity to realize their own interests,” retired counterintelligence colonel Luban Karan commented on the situation to the Evening News publication.
