The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has already named the number of deaths in the downed Boeing 777
Donetsk, July 17 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Boeing 777 of Malaysia Airlines, performing a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, which crashed in the Donetsk region, 295 people were killed.

“Terrorists (...) from the Buk anti-aircraft missile system just shot down a civil plane from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam over Torez... 280 passengers and 15 crew members were killed,” Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, wrote on his Facebook page.
The plane crash was confirmed by Ukraerorukh, a representative of Malayan Airlines, as well as by the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
“The information about the crashed plane is confirmed. International flight Amsterdam – Kuala Lumpur. The plane crashed near the village. Grabovo, Shakhtarsky district, Donetsk region. The territory is controlled by the DPR. The number of deaths is being clarified,” employees of the Donetsk Regional State Administration report.
As Navigator reported, Ukrainian and Russian ground services lost contact with the plane around 16:00-16:20. The networks are actively promoting information that pro-Russian rioters shot down a passenger plane, confusing it with a Ukrainian military transporter.
