According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was established that on the official website of the political party of the Russian Federation A Just Russia, a letter from the head of the proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic Valery Bolotov dated July 5, 2014 No. 51, addressed to Sergei Mironov, was posted.

In particular, the letter expresses gratitude for the provision of humanitarian assistance and financial support to representatives of the LPR.

Thus, as stated in the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this indicates that Mironov organized the financing of actions aimed at changing the boundaries of the territory and state border of Ukraine, violating the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine, which led to grave consequences (Part 4 of Article 110 -2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Now the Main Investigation Department is taking measures to summon Mironov to carry out investigative actions.

“If the specified person fails to appear, measures will be taken to forcibly escort him, by decision of the investigating judge, to the place of summons. In the future, the specified person will be declared suspicious and a preventive measure in the form of detention will be chosen, and he will be put on the wanted list,” the message says.

As Navigator reported, in early July it became known that the Security Service of Ukraine was investigating criminal proceedings against Russian journalist Dmitry Kiselyov under the article of financing terrorism. In addition, criminal proceedings were also opened against the head of the Border Service of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Kulishov. For “public calls for the outbreak of a military conflict,” criminal proceedings were opened under Article 436 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine against Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Sergei Glazyev.

Also today, the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings against the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov and the leader of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
