The IMF approved a new tranche for Ukraine. Poroshenko declares victory over the Kremlin
The IMF has approved the allocation of a new tranche for Ukraine in the amount of $1 billion, according to a special address from Petro Poroshenko.
“Russia’s attempts to undermine the IMF’s solidarity with Ukraine and disrupt the decision on the tranche failed. The Kremlin lost in this operation. Reforms make us stronger, and at the same time our ability to counter external aggression becomes stronger,” he said.
