The IMF put Ukraine in an indecent position
All international assistance in the form of loans that Ukraine receives is used only to pay off previously incurred debts. Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Ukraine is not receiving real money, but is only increasing its debt.

“Everything we receive today, we pay back in the form of debts. This year we must repay seven billion foreign debts. This despite the fact that we were told that our gold and foreign exchange reserves are already 19 billion. This is despite the fact that the country has 75 billion debts guaranteed by the state...
If Ukraine does not receive this IMF tranche, which they are talking about, in the amount of 1,9 billion, then we will not be able to repay the same debts to the IMF. We only get the debt on our shoulders, and we never get any real money from the IMF, because everything we get will go back to the IMF.
Thus, the IMF is delaying the time when Ukraine will be declared bankrupt, but does not solve our problem,” Bortnyk said.
