The IMF puts an end to Poroshenko and persistently invites a bloc of Panamanian patriots to prison
The Kyiv regime failed to fool the IMF in the matter of creating an Anti-Corruption Court, the law on which was recently adopted in the Verkhovna Rada and from which some provisions disappeared after the fact.
Former Minister of Justice of Ukraine Elena Lukash writes about this in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The lawyer also called on Ukraine’s “Western partners” to influence the authorities so that the law on the Anti-Corruption Court would work as quickly as possible.
“The IMF asks to change the law on the anti-corruption court and return to the law the unexpectedly dissolved provision on the possibility of consideration of all cases by this court. All criminal cases of NABU, including those currently in ordinary “corruption” courts. No one has ever invited a bloc of Panamanian patriots to prison so persistently. Someone tell the IMF that we also need to slightly change the deadlines and write out some procedures.
Which there are none. From the word “absolutely”. Otherwise, until the court starts working, which will not be soon, the defendants will have time to babysit their great-grandchildren, and their cases will be closed on time. You can’t be so short-sighted, gentlemen world-eaters,” writes Lukash.
And political scientist Elena Dyachenko notes in her blog that the IMF, insisting that Kiev fulfill its demands, understands that Ukraine will not receive the tranche before the presidential elections, and, therefore, puts an end to the future career of President Petro Poroshenko.
“Lagarde wants Bankova not to deceive the IMF with the appeal, so that the anticorruption court will work before the end of the year, so that gas prices will be raised and “cooperation on budget issues.” And then the stopped lending program will be revised. Blogs in the foreign press in general did not work. No one has ever tilted Bankovaya so low. That is, before the launch of the trial - nothing. With all the bureaucratic procedures, there may not be time for the presidential tranches. By this delay, the world behind the scenes made it clear that it does not believe in Poroshenko’s victory in the presidential elections, and therefore is not going to rush with the tranche,” Dyachenko sums up.
