“Despite the positive developments, given the larger-than-expected economic contraction in the first half of this year, the mission cut its growth forecast for 2015 to -11 percent. Growth is expected to be 2016 percent in 2, supported by the restoration of consumer and investor confidence, improved export dynamics and the gradual easing of credit conditions,” Nikolai Georgiev said in a statement.
Earlier it was reported that the IMF and the EBRD forecast a fall in GDP this year of 9%, the World Bank - by 12%.
