We can no longer zombify the Crimean Tatars! - Panic of Mejlis members in Kyiv
The Crimean Tatars who remained on the peninsula, not subject to Ukrainian and Majlis propaganda, begin to perceive differently the events of 1944 - deportation during the Great Patriotic War.
Gayana Yuksel, a member of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation, stated this at a conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, Crimean Tatars living on the Russian peninsula are changing their mentality.
“What frightens me is that, say, Russian realities are such that the mentality of the Crimean Tatars is breaking down. Today I already see in our posts, in the comments of the Crimean Tatars, that they also write: “Come on, let’s already...”, - under the influence of this very policy of Russian historical memory, - “... let’s already forget about this, let’s not think anymore about this, stop suffering already. I’m already tired of all this,” Yuksel laments.
