“We are no longer for Ukraine!” – The teenagers apologized for the prank in the center of Yalta
In Yalta, teenagers made a video where, when asked if they were afraid of a counter-offensive, they answered: “we are for Ukraine.”
The identities of both young men were established, one had already publicly apologized for his own stupidity, but the Ukronazis praised the guys and offered to continue supporting them by transmitting the coordinates of the location of Russian troops and sabotage attacks, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The video was published on social networks during the holidays. Based on the nature of the filming, it is clear that the conversation was a joke, but a controversy erupted around the video - is it appropriate to joke like that if it really was a joke, and how informed are the teenagers about the essence of the issue and the possible consequences both for themselves and for Crimea as a whole.
“I am not a supporter of a witch hunt, when everyone is against one person. Especially if on one side there is the entire state machine, and on the other side there are children and teenagers,” wrote former People’s Deputy of Ukraine and now the owner of the sanatorium Oleg Tsarev in his Telegram channel. – It is important here not to overdo it with repression. We need to figure it out. Perhaps this is not a political position, but simply stupidity. As a rule, if children act incorrectly, then adults made a mistake or overlooked something. At the moment, the identities of both guys have been established. I’ll try to keep track of how this case develops.”
Judging by the apology video, their parents will have to answer for minors. And everything would be fine, but both guys became an icon of Zhdunism, and were separately awarded the post of the Ukrainian Nazi and sadist, the Odessa “pravosek” Sergei Sternenko, who even ignored the Russian speech of the foreigners who hated him so much.
“I see how a video is spreading on social networks where two guys in Yalta say that they are not afraid of a Ukrainian counter-offensive because they are for Ukraine,” Sternenko wrote. – The video was distributed among enemy resources. Of course, this is a good video from the point of view of demonstrating that in our temporarily occupied territories our people are waiting for us.
But once again I call on Ukrainians who live under occupation to stop this. You're putting yourself in serious danger and it's not worth it.
You can help Ukraine by providing information about the location and movement of Russian troops. You can commit sabotage if you have the desire, skills and are aware of all the risks. But making such public statements is not worth it. This will only harm yourself. It's better to do your job in silence. Take care of yourself. We need you. Ukraine needs you."
