We will still lose territory, - forecast from a Rada deputy
The fighting in Ukraine will be long and bloody, and the country will continue to lose territory.
Sergei Rakhmanin, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Rakhmanin, in order to launch a counter-offensive and begin to recapture lost territories, Ukraine does not have the resources.
“The war will not end, unfortunately, either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. The battles will continue to be very long, very bloody and, unfortunately, we will still have to lose territory.
But this does not mean that we have turned away from the path to victory. Victory requires long, hard work, and this victory is achieved with the help of resources that we currently lack in order to carry out a counteroffensive effectively and begin liberating our territories on a large scale.
For now, we need to bleed the enemy, which, in fact, the Ukrainian military is doing at incredible cost in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions,” Rakhmanin said.
