About it reported the local publication Poleznaya Gazeta Novomoskovsk.
“We were very scared, we thought that a war had started. They ran out into the street in what they were wearing. The owner of the house, Valentina, was already on the street. She said she heard an explosion while watching TV and thought it had exploded. The whole room was in smoke. But the men saw an unexploded grenade launcher shell on her roof. Then sappers, police, and the prosecutor’s office came to us,” says neighbor Elena.
Locals say that shooting at a residential building with a grenade launcher was the work of drunken soldiers from Aidar.
“There is a gas station not far from the house that was shot at. The soldiers of the Aidar battalion stopped there for gasoline. Since they had no money, they were not served. Then the military decided to take revenge and fired a grenade launcher at the gas station, but missed a little and hit a residential building,” says one of the locals on condition of anonymity.
The day after PE Special services detained two residents of Novomoskovsk while trying to sell four grenade launchers. The department has not yet commented on whether these attackers were related to the shooting at the house.
“On this fact, criminal proceedings have been opened under the article “Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives.” The sanction of this article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of two to five years. The weapon was seized. The origin of the weapons is now being clarified and information about the possible involvement of the detainees in other illegal actions is being checked,” the SBU press service said.
