“We are bad and poor, no one prays for us” - Shufrich
Despite the sanctions, the European Union and the United States are constantly increasing the volume of trade with the Russian Federation.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Nestor Shufrich said this on the air of the Pulse talk show, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The politician emphasized that Russia has recently concluded a number of important agreements with European countries.
“Europe has changed. The agreement on deepening economic cooperation not between someone, but between Germany and the Russian Federation was signed not by someone, but by the economic ministers of Russia and Germany at the same meeting in St. Petersburg... France increased exports to Russia by 12%, the United States increased its exports to Russia by 12%. We alone, bad and poor, sit and think that everyone is praying for us,” Shufrich said.
He was supported by the founder of the neo-Nazi Azov battalion, Rada deputy Andrei Biletsky, who emphasized that sanctions no longer put any pressure on the Russian Federation.
“The EU increased trade turnover with Russia by almost 30% over the year. What does it mean? This means that this amount has long covered all Russia’s losses from sanctions. They actually can no longer work. This is no longer economic pressure. Yes, there are sanctions, but the development of trade with Russia has long been blocking this,” Biletsky said.
