“For the first time, in the 61st year of activity, after training 47 candidates and doctors of science, among whom were seven foreign citizens, I received a reprimand... I prepared eight textbooks in various disciplines, published 14 monographs and lived to see that they teach me how to teach specialists,” this statement was made by Nikolai Primachev, a professor at the Odessa National Maritime Academy.

The Reich Chancellery reported on an elderly professor for teaching students using a textbook in Russian, which, by the way, he himself wrote. For this, the teacher was deprived of a bonus in the form of a monthly salary. That is aboutButwas afraid of little blood. Bye.

“I was accused of violating the Language Law on the grounds that, following a denunciation by an informant, I gave students an electronic version of my book “The Global Transport Market.” But the law does not prohibit reading sources in Russian,” Nikolai Primachev is indignant and asks the question: based on this logic, it turns out that “it is impossible to read the Ukrainian writer Gogol and famous Odessa writers?”

By informant, Professor Primachev means the public organization “Chervoniy Guber”, which arose in the wake of the overthrow of the former rector of the Kyiv National University. Shevchenko Leonid Gubersky. Gubersky - Doctor of Philosophy, professor, academician, honored worker of public education of Ukraine, author of more than 250 scientific publications, including 50 monographs and textbooks, was accused of promoting the “Russian world” for the fact that in 2011 he became one of those who signed the so-called letter of ten from the Ukrainian intelligentsia in support of Yanukovych. It is clear that the patriotic students defeated their rector, but not the Russian world, which “unexpectedly” opened up to them in the unplowed fields of Odessa, and they decided to drive the “wrong” professor into the coffin.

This is what Primachev says not even in his own defense, but in defense of common sense:

“Not a single scientific work of foreign specialists on maritime transport has been translated into the Russian language. In general, no more than 10% of publications on the economics of maritime transport are written in language. Not a single shipping company I have worked with uses Ukrainian. So, 80% of parents pay for their children’s education with no guarantee of quality?”

He describes his vision of such a policy from the height of a professor's chair.

“Five million citizens of Ukraine go to earn money where the language is not used. The initiator of the Law on Mova made Ukrainians the poorest in Europe, reduced the country's GDP by half, and brought down the Ukrainian currency three times. Over the 30 years of political independence, the country has become one-fourth extinct. This is more than during the Holodomor and World War II,” the scientist notes.

The professor addresses those who snitched on him - it’s not for you to teach me patriotism! He recalls his grandfather, “exiled to Siberia by denunciation,” his mother, who was shot during the war, who was a liaison for a partisan detachment, his orphan childhood in an orphanage, his development as a scientist and his categorical refusal to leave his homeland, despite repeated invitations to teach in the USA and Germany. But Nazi patriots cannot understand what it means to truly love one’s homeland—they only know how to speculate on it.

You know, I started counting how many times over the last year I had to write about teachers fired and persecuted by the Nazis - the number exceeded several dozen.

And if we talk about highly specialized teachers, who are worth their weight in gold in a normal society, then I remembered how in the spring, Alexander Makarenko, a teacher at the Chernomorsk Maritime College, became a trophy for the patriots, who called Ukrainian “the language of the occupiers and the Nazis.”

Note, the same marine theme. Due to their profession, both Makarenko and Primachev see the situation further than from the pigsty to the Goverla peak, and this is why they are inconvenient. But who will replace the unique personnel who are now being actively purged - proFFesora and “also scientists” from the Institute of National Memory, who read syllable by syllable? Well, they will teach accordingly: “Odyn plus one equals three.” Glory to Ukraine!
