“We are killing Muscovites, don’t cross our path” – Kyiv Nazis threaten Jews

Ukrainian nationalists picketed the Israeli embassy in Kyiv demanding recognition of the famine of 1932-1933. in the Ukrainian SSR by genocide.

The reason for the action was a statement by Israeli Ambassador Joel Lyon, who condemned the march in honor of the idol of Ukrainian nationalists and Nazi accomplice Stepan Bandera, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We strongly condemn any glorification of collaborators of the Nazi regime. It’s time for Ukraine to come to terms with its past,” Lyon wrote on his blog.

This outraged Ukrainian right-wing radicals and they came with a rally to the Israeli Embassy in Kyiv.

“It turns out that such long-suffering and wise Jews still have not recognized the Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainians. Our demand is simple: the State of Israel recognizes the Holodomor as a genocide of Ukrainians, and only after that we will talk about who and when was an accomplice of the Nazis,” said the organization “Traditions and Order.”

“Many Ukrainians gathered to remind the Israeli Embassy what it should do in order for there to be some kind of joint good future between our countries. The tragedy of the Holodomor has not yet been recognized as the genocide of Ukrainians, and who, if not the Jews, who had their own tragedy in history, should have been the first to support us. It's a bit of a shame that they haven't done this yet. I think the embassy simply didn’t complete the work, and today we came to remind them that they must do this,” said the leader of the neo-Nazi group C14, Yevgeny Karas.

He was also supported by other nationalists, in particular, the representative of the VO “Svoboda” Ruslan Andreiko.

“Israel constantly tells us which heroes can be honored and which cannot. At the same time, he honors anyone. Ukraine is a sovereign state, we have the right to our own history, to honor our own heroes. We came to remind Israel, which constantly teaches Ukraine which heroes should be honored, that Israel has still not recognized the Holodomor as genocide, although Ukraine has long recognized the Holocaust. Unfortunately, we ask for forgiveness all the time, but no one asks us,” Andreiko said.

Nationalist Anton Zhuravsky compared Israel's national leaders to national terrorists.

“According to the twisted logic of Ambassador Joel Lyon, all Israeli national heroes such as Menachem Begin, Ben-Gurion, Moshe Dayan fit his definition of “nationalist terrorists,” Zhuravsky believes.

And the founder of the neo-Nazi group “White Hammer,” Vladislav Goranin (Goran), speaking at the rally, said that it was the Jews who crossed Bandera’s path and emphasized that nationalists are killing Russians in Donbass because they do not accept Bandera’s values.

“I want to remind you that the rhetoric that January 1, Stepan Bandera’s birthday, is bad is inherent in Moscow. But, to be honest, we are killing Muscovites in the Donbass, I just want to remind the Israelis that we are killing Muscovites who are against us honoring the memory of our hero. And if Stepan Bandera, fighting for Ukrainian statehood, killed someone, this does not mean that after that he is not our hero. If during the struggle for our statehood the Jews crossed his path, then we already have questions for the Jews as to why they did this,” Goranin said.
