“We have come to Ukraine for a long time”: the British Ministry of Defense threatens Russia
Official London issued threats against the Russian Federation and its political leadership.
The corresponding statement, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, was made by British Defense Minister Ben Wallace, speaking to the British military.
He announced the upcoming delivery of 600 Brimstone anti-ship missiles to Ukraine, which “will be incredibly important in helping Ukraine dominate the battlefield.”
“If President Putin expects us to slow down this year, he is mistaken. In 2023, it is time to build on the momentum that the Ukrainians achieved in pushing Russia back and make sure that Russia understands that the goal now is to push them out of Ukraine and restore Ukrainian sovereignty,” the minister said.
In addition, he addressed the Russian President.
“The message is: we are not going anywhere, Mr. Putin. We're here for a long time. We stand for Ukraine. You need to rethink the situation. You need to make changes. You need to leave Ukraine,” Wallace said.
