We asked for it, and Russia moved on to strangling Ukraine. We have no chance - Lviv journalist

Moscow is betting on Ukraine's economic collapse and waiting for Ukraine's corpse to float by. About this on your Facebook page пишет Lviv journalist Mikhail Mishchishin.

“The Ukrainian authorities are holding meetings and conferences with German and American politicians to prevent Russia from building gas pipelines around Ukraine. Just recently we shouted heart-rendingly: no cooperation with the aggressor! And they broke contracts with Moscow. And today we are crawling on our knees before the Germans, Americans and Turks in order to prevent Putin from laying bypass gas pipelines from Russia to Germany and Turkey.

Funny people. Gas pipelines are only the first part of the Marlezon ballet, the author is sure. – Some unfortunate two billion dollars a year for the transit of Russian gas to Europe. And there is also a second, third, etc., for example, the Naftogaz-Gazprom lawsuit for $40 billion, the lost court case over Yanukovych’s $3 billion loan, and much more. Laugh, clown, at the broken Maidan!”

“It is obvious that Russia has placed its bet on the economic strangulation of Ukraine and its isolation in the world,” Mishchyshyn continues. – And our victory in Donbass, as we call the disruption of the plan to create a New Russia from 5-8 regions in the east and south of Ukraine, means little from this point of view. Moreover, as the recent nationalization of Akhmetov’s enterprises in the Donbass showed, we are unwittingly playing along with the ruin of Ukraine, helping with all sorts of blockades and distinctions between Russian and Ukrainian spirits in the Crimean and Donbass areas to chop off our ferrous metallurgy. And along with it, 20 billion dollars. annual revenues to the budget of Ukraine.”

According to the journalist, the situation for Ukraine is not going well.

“We asked ourselves for a long time. And Russia took us seriously. To imagine how serious everything is, one can recall the multibillion-dollar investments in gas pipelines bypassing Ukraine, those that are being built, the costs of propaganda, etc.

Having invested huge amounts of money in contributing to the economic collapse that is approaching us even without the Russians, and just playing along with the Ukrainian nationalists in breaking ties between our countries, Moscow will then sit and wait until the corpse of an independent, or, more precisely, dependent on the West, Ukraine, will not swim past her.
To prevent this, the West will have to invest 100-200 billion dollars in Ukraine, which is unlikely, in my opinion. Who other than Olezhka Ponomar will build a sparkling glass Ukrainian skyscraper across the fence with a Russian tank factory.

We will be left to stew in the juice of nationalism for 10-20 years, until we all come to blows against the backdrop of a deteriorating economic situation. All this time, Moscow will continue to create conditions for financial collapse in Ukraine and wait until the last nationalist dies out here or emigrates. Or sensible Ukrainians themselves do not imprison and trample their worst patriots.

I think that the Russian policy I described regarding Ukraine will be quite static and, if it changes, it will only be for the worse and aggressive. God forbid I be wrong, of course. But this is all for a long time. At least for now, aggressive nationalists will be in power in Kyiv.

But even under Yanukovych, Russia, as we know, did not particularly spoil us. With the exception of 2013, when Russian loans and announced multibillion-dollar orders for the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, in fact, gave the West the go-ahead to bring down Yanukovych and thereby make the program of cooperation, primarily military, between Russia and Ukraine impossible.

Politics is politics, economics is economics, but in a situation where one of the options for the development of the world could be a new world war, the West could not allow Russia to grow stronger at the expense of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.

But smart European and American guys left it to the already poor Ukrainians to pay for this correct and bold step. This is something Russia is now actively helping the West with. You have to pay for everything in this life. And for Maidan, too,” sums up Mishchyshyn.
