This was stated by the head of the financial institution, German Gref, answering questions from shareholders on Friday.

“We have no such plans yet. This is unacceptable from the point of view of sanctions. We will not work in these territories for now,” Gref quotes Interfax.

Before the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation, Sberbank worked on the peninsula through its Ukrainian subsidiary, after which it curtailed operations there.
